Another successful year gone by at the 2014 Taste of Melbourne Food Festival held at Albert Park.
Peter Kuruvita, Ambassador of Dilmah was on hand to give guests some great tips and tricks at the Dilmah Chef Skillery and presented some great sessions on cooking with tea. Our favourite was a Fragrant Jasmine Green Tea infused prawns (stay tuned for the recipe coming soon)
Our Exceptional range of teas were also on offer for attendees to sample, flavours included our Fragrant Jasmine Green Tea, Rose with French Vanilla and Acai Berry, Pomegranate and Vanilla (which was our number one for the 4 days!), Ceylon Spice Chai and Italian Almond.
Our delightful tea infused chocolates were also available for purchase. Flavour included: Rose with French Vanilla tea and Mandarin, Earl Grey Tea with Lemon and a Ceylon Spice Chai truffle.
We couldnt get enough of them! (In particular the Ceylon Spice Chai and Earl Grey with Lemon Truffles all designed by Peter Kuruvita.)
Running over 4 days, we ran short of tea for guests to purchase which we were selling at 1 dollar a packet! (very good price)
Thankfully we had re inforcements and plenty of stock coming in for replenishment and no one went home with out at least one!
